Naugatuck State Budget Forum

Residents in Naugatuck will have their say on the budget crisis facing Connecticut. Senator’s Joseph Crisco (D-Woodbridge) and Joan Hartley (D-Waterbury) have announced plans to hold a Town Hall Forum to provide an overview of Connecticut’s budget and to discuss some of the other critical issues facing the General Assembly.

The Town Hall Forum will be held Tuesday, March 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Howard Whittimore Library, 243 Church Street in Naugatuck.

The forum will provide constituents with an opportunity to gain insight into the state budget and the legislative process. There will be a brief presentation on the budget and a discussion on a number of other important issues facing the state in the areas of health care, education, transportation and public safety. There will also be time for the public to ask questions.
